Well, some of us know Andy loves to drive around in the grassy combi van. The idea appears to be catching on with the Milanese ingenuity growing grass on their vehicles. The ivy wheels are a nice touch. They haven't quite got the concept all covered. However the possibilities are endless seeing they can grow grass on walls.
Ok, I didn't get a photograph of the building with grass walls, but below is a herb garden wall. Sheer genius.
These are the travel blog funny pages. Anything amusing that may have happened goes here. I cannot vouch for the authenticity, accuracy, level of exaggeration or embelishment. However, I can vouch for the fact that at some point something sparked an amusing thought or observation. Disclaimer: I reserve the right to find something funny because all else told, 'I was there!'

It rains where ever I go.
A bit of an in-house joke with me is that whenever I go to Brisbane it rains. I can now safely state the same principle applies in Europe. I arrived in Paris - it rained. I get to Milan and there is a heavy downpour. Thankfully, the Italians have put on a lovely thunder and lightening show for me too.
It may have rained in Abu Dhabi as well, but I suspect that was the warm humid conditions and perspiration. Either that or someone emptying a bucket off the roof.

Funny observation no. 1
Ok. I am typing this post on a computer set to Italian. Thankfully the internet sites such as this one is in English as I could be in a bit of strife (not knowing the language at all). Negotiating the different keyboard layout and dipthongs (not related to dipflipflops) are proving an interesting challenge. Took me a while to find out where and how to get the @ symbol up.
In the beginning...
Right-o here we go. In response to comments made of my more serious blog I have created this 'funny pages' addition. While there was some funny content (at least I found it funny - perhaps you needed to be there) it appears some people found lots of reading difficult. Also, hopefully I have fixed the comments capabilty up so people can actually comment online and join in the experience. Even though you are probably stuck to the desk and not actually here with me. Ha ha (in as condescending a tone as I can type).
Anyway, for the more serious stuff go to http://www.wilkosworldtour.blogspot.com/.
